By default, you can’t log into Windows 8 or 8.1 automatically. It asks for the user name and password at a login screen. Although its a good feature but if you have a personal computer and you are the only user of the computer, you might want to disable this feature and want to automatically log into Windows without any need to enter your username and password.

This will work for a Microsoft Account or a Local Account in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
Here we will share two different methods for doing this. You can choose  any of them.
So how to do this?

step 1 - Open run by win key + r

 step 2 - Type netplwiz

step 3 - Uncheck the Check-Box: "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" (see Image below)

 and then click Apply.

step 4 - After that another window will appear on your screen that is about “Automatically Logon” menu. It requires a Username and Password. You need to fill these boxes. When you type the username and password in the following boxes, the system will save your password for an automatic logon and click ok. (see Image below)

Note - If you’re using a Microsoft Account the “Username” will be your email address.

That's it.Finally restart your computer. Now Windows will automatically login the selected user and will not ask for the password.

note - If you want to reverse it and want Windows to prompt for username and password, then simply enable the option mentioned in the 3rd step.

Now you have done.
